Hey guys!
So I know it's like the most popular mineral foundation out there, but it really really is amazing. I have combo skin and it's so hard to keep my T-zone shine free, and this foundation does that without having me touch it up every hour or so. I really like my shade (Fairly Light) and it matches perfectly to my skin tone. I know this product won't work for everyone, and it might dry skin further if you have dry skin, but check it out and try it! I got a sample from Sephora this past week for free (you have to ask for one, and they'll make a little sample container for you) and am testing it out to see if I want to buy the big one.
Here's to perfect skin!!

Gold-pink lipstick
So I discovered this awesome color of lipstick...PINK GOLD!!! So cool!! It's really dressy and kind of has an Egyptian feel. Pair it with a light peach blush, brownish pearly eyeshadow, and a few coat of mascara to show off the lips.
I recommend and used CoverGirl's "Rose Gold" color in this picture. You can get it at drugstores :)

Mascara
Hey guys!
Today, I'm going to talk about how to apply mascara for full, voluptuous lashes ;)
Start with the top lashes. Place the wand at the base of your lashes, and wiggle it up to the tips of your lashes. Do this a few more times, depending on the look you want to achieve. Don't let the coats dry in between, as it will result in clumping.
On the bottom lashes, use the same technique. Focus more on the corners. This will make your eyes appear bigger. One or two coats will be enough for the bottom.

I used this technique on the left eye, and left the right eye with no makeup, so you can see the difference

Foundation!!
So this is my first post...deep breath, here we go :)
Today, I'm talking about foundation and the different types and what works for your specific skin type. There are 4 types of foundation: liquid, powder, cream, and tinted moisturizer.
If you have dry skin (flaky and feels tight when you don't put lotion on), liquid and cream foundations will work best for you. After washing your face with a facial cleanser, apply a light face cream all over your face. Then, start in the middle of your face with the foundation and blend outward with either a sponge, foundation brush, or your (clean!) fingers. Cream foundation will provide full coverage, while liquid will give you light to full coverage, depending on how much you put on and your needs.
If you have combo skin (oily in the T-zone and dry or normal everywhere else), I would recommend liquid and/or powder foundation. Apply liquid foundation as I described above, then set it with a loose or pressed powder. Use more powder in the T-zone, and blend.
If you have oily skin (oily and shiny all over, especially in the T-zone), use a powder foundation. After washing your face, apply powder all over in circular motions with your brush. Blend until your face is even-toned.
If you have normal skin (damn I'm jealous :P), you can use any of these products. For the lightest coverage, go for tinted moisturizer. Fullest coverage would be a cream foundation.
